I think the SEC needs to rethink this rule. What if a team is 7-0 and gets a game cancelled at the end of the season for legitimate reasons.
Are they to sit out and a 5-3 team go instead?
They need to just make sure there is a provision such that the ADs can vote on things if unusual circumstances arise.
