LSU and Bama didn't play 1918 season because of World War 1 but A&M did

A&M is coming for LSU and Bama this year and this is the only thing I will have to hang my hat on when A&M beats LSU.

Somebody has to stay home with the women and children while the real men do the fighting.

Wasn't that A&M team all freshmen?

The author of the Aggie War Hymn wrote it while on the western front.

Excuses are like assholes. Aggies eat them up.

Gays weren't allowed in the military back then.

Why don't you LSU/aTm fans petition the mods for your own board?

Aggie does seem the obvious choice. Who would you trust with your women more than an Aggie?

Looks like the rantard narrative fails again:

quote:

n the midst of World War I, Texas A&M lost star players Grady Higginbotham, Jack Mahan and Woodrow Wilson to the service along with the entire senior class, which was sent to France. Along with them, the team lost coach Dana X. Bible, who was a pilot in the war. Assistant coach D.V. "Tubby" Graves took over the depleted unit. Practice hours were cut in half. There were more drill hours because the younger classes were expected to be sent to the war at staggered dates the following year.
