I keep hearing Bama fans saying that LSU won't score 20 points. And, I've heard several LSU fans say that Bama won't score 20 points. As dominate as both defenses have been, the offenses are averaging 39.38 (Bama) and 39.25 (LSU) points per game.

Any chance that this is closer to a 38-35 score rather than the 17-14 scores that I keep seeing? It just seems to me that both fan bases are severely underestimating how efficient that both offenses have been.

We haven't played anyone with defenses like ours. No way in hell the score is like that.

yeah, but the defenses give up 11 and 7 points a game. Something has to give.. and the offenses probably will.

I think the score will be in the 20s... something like 27-24.

Both offenses are too good to be shut down. Both defenses are too good to give up a ton of points. Kind of like a good NFL game.

The score in hell is like that with defenses anyone haven't played, no way.

any team scoring over 24 is a stretch, IMO, in regulation of course.

LSU like every team we play this season, will not score 20 points.

I think it will be a 6-3 type of game at halftime, but in the 3rd quarter I think both teams will slowly wear down each defense, and the 4th quarter will become more of a shootout (by LSU/Bama standards).

Final score 24-19 type of game.

I could see that too. It was 7-3 at half last year.

I think a score similar to last year sounds about right, 24-21 type game. LSU hasn't had to show anything all year. A few trick plays should be expected, especially if we can't move the ball early.

I will be really suprised if someone not listed as a QB doesn't throw a pass. It could be Ware doing it, but he did it vs Auburn and Bama last year. So, they may go with someone more off the radar, it could be Magee. RS is also possible and even RR coming in motion from his WR spot, in a wildcat type play.

Yes, but a little lower than that; winning team will score close to 30 IMO.
the O/U being set around 40 was/is a gimme

I'm taking the under in this one. It's going to be a defensive battle.
