Yeah the 6-1-2 format would have been ideal.

Should have been this or no perms. Scheduling equity aside there is no reason to have over a decade before going to a conference opponents stadium.

Bama was trying to go to a 9 game schedule.

This is an sec office embarassment. The blame doesn't lie at the feet of any of the member institutions.

If this was going to be the end game anyway, what the hell was the point of the bridge scheduling in the first place?

More Alleva: "LSU has played Florida and Georgia 19 times since 2000 and Bama has played them 8 times. Is that fair ?" #LSU

VOLS have played Bama, UGA and Florida 42 times since 2000 but you don't hear our AD whining and bitching about schedules constantly.

In fact, I wish we still played our former #2 rival Auburn every year. VOLS gave that game up in '92 so that we could keep TSiO.

Okay? We're not rivals with Florida. Gainesville sucks and offers no incentive to make such a long trip. If you think we're scared of muschamp or even mark richt you're baked. I would be delighted to play UGA every year or shite make a trip to beautiful Knoxville. And even with that said I love how you can't for a second acknowledge how it's bullshite that you've gotten to beat up on fat Phil and doolander in a prime location, while we basically have to fly to a shithole to mingle with Jhort wearing douchebags

Dear Joe,
I'm gonna teach you a lesson most of us learn in our late teens and early twenties. I want you to read what I type and really take it to heart. LIFE IS REALLY HARD AND IT USUALLY ISNT FAIR.

Sincerely,

what fricking pussies. Auburn has played LSU, Alabama and Georgia every year forever. And we MISS playing Florida and Tennessee.

We win our share.

We miss playing Aubie - that used to be a great rivalry.

Wow...so you are really including two teams in your division to make the comparison. That's rich.

When did we beat up on Fulmer? Maybe his last year or two? Hell, I'd love to play both Tennessee and Florida every year. I had a great time last time I went to Gainesville. The Swamp is a great stadium to watch a game in.

Can we get a montage of Joe Alleva interviews/quotes with Sarah McLachlan playing in the background?

didn't matter in 2001 or 1981 when Alabama had beaten Tennessee 11 straight. Now there are 14 teams and maybe two games against an East team over a 12 yr period. The Florida game means nothing to me. One day in 1971 the SEC commissioner at the time called Carl Maddox and Ray Graves and said ,"y'all play each other every year." I'm sure they said, "why?"

All of this baloney for the Tennessee-Alabama game which hasn't meant squat since 1973. If its so "special" why not schedule one another as an OOC game?
