If a&m fans want to visit New Orleans during a busy time, i think y'all would prefer Decadence Festival over Bayou Classic. There's still a high probability you'd get shot. But y'all enjoy the shooting at Decadence.

Of course you will. Just not during rivalry week

I agree. If more people cared about both Arkansas and Mizzou, that game would be the one showcased.

Oh no, is our game not going to be on tv?

It probably will, but I said "showcased." Being on ESPNU doesn't really qualify.

You seem to be putting the cart before the horse. Schedules for 2014 aren't even out yet, let alone tv schedules.

The A&M little longhorn's have only sold out their season tickets twice in the last 12 years

How many times did LSU sell out season tickets in the 90s?

Since this is inevitable, the media will 'create' the rivalry between Arkansas and Missouri, and they will be successful in doing so over time.

In a few years, all of these concerns will be forgotten because all involved are going to prosper.

The Mizzou-Arkansas game will become a bigger deal. The A&M-LSU game will become a bigger deal. And the list goes on.

Saturday day and night will become the prime college TV day for Thanksgiving weekend..and ESPN via the SEC Network will make sure the SEC owns it.

There has actually been talk of having a rotating game/rivalry on that weekend so to facilitate the network's ability to showcase the game that DOES matter. This will be partly determined by a content board comprised of four members from the SEC and four members from ESPN. So you have a situation here where the media will increasingly influence future SEC scheduling.

It's a very easy, logical assumption. Neither team moves the needle. In fact, they're two of the least talked about programs in the SEC.

I could be wrong, but ESPNU seems like the safest bet.

It's cute how hard you try to put us down... but deep down I know you love us.

You're all over the place. And what do you mean by "showcased"? CBS on Friday? Whoopdee doo, we've done that for the past ~20 years. If your argument held water, CBS wouldn't touch that game because Arkansas "doesn't move the needle" according to you.

So, can you please explain why CBS has showcased Lsu vs. Arkansas on Friday so many times? And before you say it's all because of Lsu, they were complete dog shite before 2001.

First, stop forcing idioms into your posts. It's fuggin' up the flow of my reading.

Second, it's not just my opinion that Arkansas doesn't move the needle. That your game against LSU is being replaced to take advantage of more viewership is proof positive of that.

I'm not all over the place at all. The SEC is modifying the schedule to showcase TAMU-LSU instead of LSU-Arkansas. CBS will feature this game instead of the one they've showcased "so many times."

You're being relegated while TAMU is being lifted. And, as your fellow Hog fan observed, this wouldn't be the case if more people cared about your football team, school, and state.

Playing on T.giving nite is an aggie tradition, not LSU's.LSU's tradtion that day is spending time with family & has been for over a century. As well, that is early in hunting season, school is out so no students on campus, etc. Quit trying to force yours on the rest of the league. Mabe one day the tea sippers will stop all their pouting, pull up their big boy pants & play y'all again on that day.

Forced Rivalry is beneth fans of teams like Auburn who have several traditional rivals and therefore do not have to create hate where there is none

Just because you're ignorant of the history between the two schools doesn't mean you should post in this thread.

LSU has played more games against A&M than 5 other SEC teams - including Auburn.

But yeah, Tulane, Ole Miss and A&M have traditionally been LSU's rivals.

So go play with Georgia, you're not needed here.
