I liked the final possession of the half when the guy from LSU was going to jack up a 3/4 court shot and just said ugh frick it and held onto the ball. It was a clear travel but no one really gave a shite and was like, "hey man, this is enough SEC basketball for now, let's go back to the locker rooms."

You guys have way more talent than we do. I didn't expect to win this game. I'm glad we are keeping it close. Hopefully we can find a way to pull this one out.

We have more talent than all but maybe 2 or 3 teams in the SEC. Doesn't mean we're going to do anything. Coaching is holding us back big time.

Simmons is going No. 1 no matter what. If he has a great year, of course. If he has a down rest of the year, scouts already saw the potential.
I can't think of a comparison to Simmons of an NBA player that wouldn't be putting crazy expectations on the kid.

He started off well then went stone cold. He's been improving defensively at least.
