Arkansas has zero sec titles. Let that sink in

I admit, when it comes to zero LSU has quite a bit of experience in football. 17-0, 21-0... on the bright side y'all weren't shut out last year so hope springs eternal.

Upgrade? For sure. I'll still wait and see before I pronounce him the next Charlie McBride.

3. Quarterbacks improve the most from year one to two as starters. Harris was above average in comparison to first year starters. Will only get better

I'll believe it when I see it.

Reasons why LSU won't improve:

1. Les Miles
2. Cam Cameron
3. Bama
4. Arkansas

You know, I can't really disagree with you. I'll give Arkansas the credit they deserve.

I feel "pretty good" about going up and playing Wisconsin in Green Bay. A&M is a guaranteed win...a gimmie game. We might as well be playing East Texas Baptist for all I care. I feel alright playing at Auburn. It'll be a tough place for sure, but that defense isn't stopping LF7. The Swamp is always a tough place to win, but they really faltered towards the end of the season.

With that said, I just don't feel good playing at Fayetteville. Especially following Alabama. The best two years, Arkansas has thoroughly kicked our arse (17-0 and 31-14). Last year's score, as bad as it was, still wasn't even reflective of how poor we played.

Bama would have been a -1 favorite at lsu last year... So yes lsu will be favored this year

Didn't Anthony Jennings take you to OT last time at Death Valley?

I can't believe LSU still thinks that Harris will be a good QB. You can't fix stupid and that guy is just stupid.

Reasons for caution:

1. QB - Mett had 4 years of college ball before he had a good year. Harris has not shown as yet. Yellow light!

2. Miles and Cameron X-O new offense. Can a leopard change spots? Blinking yellow.

3. Defense organization change and personnel. New coordinator and scheme, big ? at LB. DL short on depth and talent last year, ditto this year unless freshmen can play SEC level DL. Yield sign.

4. Can OL improve especially pass blocking? Double yellow line.

5. Depth of most positions is thin, except RB, FB, WR, CB. Injuries will hurt (heh heh). School Zone /0 NOG.

6. Quit talking about what the other teams lost...look at what they will have and it will sober you up. Red light.

All that said, if all the "ifs" work out and given a few fortunate bounces, LSU could contend. But in the SEC west, and add Florida, sobriety is a virtue.
