How on earth is this possible?

He'd probably still have me beat if he was still alive. He had a Nintendo, the Internet (AOL 2.0-dial up) and a DVD player before I did

The FFL is INSANE. Practicing 4-5 days a week, 2 hours a day. The coach bought a blocking sled for the line. (Remember, these kids are 8 years old).

This is nothing. I assume by FFL you mean flag-football?
Here in Alabama, they start tackle football in kindergarten. They also practice 2hrs/day, 4 days/wk with games on Saturdays. You may have paid $200-$300 registration fee plus bought pads, helmet, practice jerseys & pants, & attended every practice, but that does not mean that Junior gets to play. He may get to play a down or two all season, but only the best play (even in 1st grade). My son first played here in 2nd grade and he had a defensive coach who would stand over downed kids yelling at them to "get up off the ground, you're killing my grass!" and "you're playing like you wear pink panties!" I have to admit, though, as insane as it is, it's also pretty awesome.

I was going to say, with the looks of that picture(mid 70's) she must now be around 49 or 50ish

Frisco Football League

They don't yell at the kids like that, but they are pretty hard on them.

There is absolutely NO POINT in being on a football team at that age and riding the pine. How is a kid supposed to learn the game and be ready to compete at the next level if he gets no playing time when he is young. FFL rules require that every player has a starting position. Too many players? Start a new team.

Any of you guys know Kevin Griffin?

His older brother is the head coach, thus the LSU influence.

How about this, you let your daughter go where she wants - BUT YOU MUST INSIST A&M GET CHEERLEADERS.

And ignore the pervs. Apparently they don't see that all their 'creepy' posts are more of a reflection on them then you.

FWIW, your OP was quite obvious right from the start to me.

we both know they are doing it the right way here. It's not like the major ISD's in Texas aren't pumping out top notch talent year after year.
