The new lead is Monte Kiffin.
Not sure if upgrade or not.

i think its a win/win to be honest. Either we will get an upgrade at DC and our D will continue to be good. Or we wont and it will likely expedite Miles out of town. Main reason why i really have zero stress over the hire.
i dunno, man. Have you seen Les's buyout?
quote:
That buyout would be $15 million if Miles is terminated prior to Dec. 31, 2015. It would then drop to $12.9 million for the contract's fourth and fifth years, to $8.6 million for the sixth year and $4.3 million for the seventh.
What are the chances LSU eats almost $13 million for firing him prior to 2018?

I dont know. I'm not in the athletic department but the money is definitely there. That wont be an issue.

I'm not going to go digging, but around the time Chief was hired a large number of Tiger posters said this was a blessing in disguise because they were going to get an upgrade at DC.
Don't have to dig far.
Upgrade U and all that...

We have a winner, and please take that piece of shite human being Joe Alleva. How he ever got an AD job again after what he pulled at Duke is beyond me.

As long as our defense doesn't give up 10 game winning drives when we have the lead in the 4th, yes, we KNOW we are getting an upgrade.
I'll say it again, Chavis is a great game planner...maybe as good as anyone. But when the plan is thrown out and it is OC against him on that last drive, he is CONSISTENTLY outcoached.
He was/is supposed to be the LBer guru, but had Welter playing in place of Beck, who is 5x's the player Welter is.....and he did this for over a year!
He is a good college coach, but I am not upset he's gone, I'm only upset in the manner it was handled by him.
Oh, he is not a recruiter...so it's an upgrade there if the next guy is an active solid reruiter

Good god at this point you Aggies are flat out annoying as shite. It's almost as if y'all are more interested in our DC coaching search than we are. And that's saying something. Guess you can't really talk shite about anything else when we've won 4 in a row..

You know you don't have to click on any threads. Nothing is mandatory.

He has to, he absolutely has to. Like a moth to a flame

We get y'all want to bear Chavis' children but the board doesn't need 50 threads per day about it all over the first page.

probably the most repeated lie of any coaching search.

Is Brian Van Gorder available?
Posted on 1/5/15 at 4:01 pm to Warrior Poet
No, we're getting something even better than an upgrade.

prob not, but no one knows at this point, just a lot of shite being thrown around. So i guess we finish behind arky this season but still ahead of tamu. Oh well.

Aggie fans - Still trying to find a moral victory against LSU?
I'll allow it considering the absence of on-the-field victories.

Given the extension offered to Chavis w/ the Les Miles clause, and subsequently the offer w/o the clause, but was for just two years, it sure seems like LSU isn't planning on Miles being there too much longer.
