If LSU doesn't win the SEC next year, I hope A&M does.

The LSU game took a lot out of Alabama. Alabama's defense was on the field all night against LSU (39+ minutes). LSU ran the ball 46 times. And, emotionally, Alabama was drained. Saban himself said he was concerned that his team was out of gas.
Make no mistake. A&M benefitted greatly from Alabama playing LSU the previous week.

I'm going to go a different angle than what you're complaining about. The second I heard Mizzou and A&M were joining the SEC I laughed at the thought of what was going to happen to Mizzou but I knew right away A&M was going to fit right in. They have the tradition as well as playing in this region. Having played LSU so much in the past that program knew what SEC football was about. It's only going to get more fun down the road.
Also, everyone screaming about LSU beating A&M, Bama beating LSU and A&M beating Bama, don't you realize this is exactly what the SEC is! The best teams beat up the best teams. This is why it's great to be an SEC fan. We get to see the best players, in the best venues, with the best traditions play the best brand of ball.

You think UGA won't drop a single spot if they lose? At that point assuming FL loses we will be 6 and UGA will be 5. All they need is to drop one spot.
And the only other thing that we "need" to happen is ND to lose to USC. That makes LSU 4 and an automatic BCS bowl team.
Even without a ND loss LSU has a good chance for an at large.

Well they do only have one loss going into the SEC Championship this year it's not the same.

LSU benefitted greatly from LaTech canceling the opening game against A&M so they could eliminate A&M's bye week and run 100+ plays in a game that didn't end until well after midnight. See everyone can do that.
