I must be late to the party, but exactly what has "Coach O" done with the defensive line at LSU that makes him so exalted (and at the same time makes the DC so reviled)? The DL was pushed around this season by most of the teams that had a decent OL. And I didn't notice any significant observable upgrade in technique or schemes, etc.

I know my LSU friends all act like he is the second coming, even though they have finally begun to show evidence of reality over Brandon Harris. So, why is Coach O the fair-haired one?

If Coach O leaves for USC I think he's hedging his bets that Miles won't be retained after next season and going back to USC will put him in a better position to become LSU's head coach after Miles.

Odds are very low Coach O is given the keys at LSU.

He did a good job as interim at USC but his record at Ole Miss was atrocious.

This is the only realistic possibility I could see for Orgeron leaving.

If you didn't see the improvement over last year's defensive line, you haven't been paying attention.

Isn't there a website where you can track coach O's hummer as it travels across the country?

As if LSU's AD couldn't make up that ground in a single season?

Well if O isn't good then LSU doesn't have any good coaches. According to tiger rant, O is keeping the defense together with his crootin

USC needs a good coach again. I'm sick of them sucking.

I think fans and media read more into things than what actually may be there.

There were rumors last year that Pat Haden would retire due to health reasons. He won't be there forever.

Coach O spent a lot of time at USC. He's going to think hard about any offer.

I wouldn't be surprised if Richt went after him too. Coach O had a lot of success at the U back in the day. Apparently Richt is not bringing his DL coach from UGA to Miami as Kirby is retaining him.

As an Oregon resident and Beaver Believer, I never tire of seeing SC lose.

Ruining their perfect season in 2008 was especially fun.

The way coaching hires are trending I doubt LSU will land a big name coach in the event Miles is fired during or after next season. Not that it can't happen but it's not likely.

I just knew this line would be used. I thought it would take the offseason, but I underestimated your fan base once again.

That Thursday night game was awesome. That RB (Rodgers?) was a beast.
