Lsu fans are held to a higher standard, which makes sense.

Delusional Gump.

Worrying about LSU almost cost you one game...keep our lease in your team's head open - space is limited, to be sure.

There's plenty of stupid and ill informed trash talk on both sides. Then there's the obvious trolls popping up all over.

It will be a good game, like it usually is. Both teams have obvious flaws, and solid strengths, and as always, there will be playmakers everywhere. Both have the bye week to fix issues, add wrinkles, and get healthy.

I think many of us were surprised that LSU played as well as they did last season, based on what we saw leading up to the game. I won't be surprised this year, but just like 2 out of the last 3 vs Bama, playing well won't be enough. The Tigers have to close.

Should be a great one. All the trash talk is just noise.

5 in a row will be glorious.

It could be four years in a row for sure...or it could be 3-3 over the last 6 regular season meetings. Obviously, since the turn of the century LSU has a pretty good advantage over Alabama....no one is debating prior to 2000.

There is reason for optimism that we can go into T-town and pull out a win. One is that this is the most dynamic offense that saban will have to defend against, and it's not even close....and quite frankly, Alabama's offense has been far less than stellar this year.

Both defenses are pretty good....Bama comes in higher at overall #6 in the country, but LSU is also a top 20 national defense.....and both are very strong against the run, both being top 10 run defenses. The secondary has had some confusion at times in zone coverage, but the return of Mills should help settle that down some, and LSU will probably play a lot of Man on Alabama anyway.

Special teams are both bad.

A HUGE factor in my mind is turnovers. LSU is #1 in the nation in this category. Alabama in #12 in the conference and around 100th overall in the nation. Of course, this doesn't mean anything when the game kicks off...because anything could happen...but that has to be a concerning stat for bama....especially the 9 interceptions.

Also, Tenn had a lot of success against Bama's OL....I would expect LSU to have some success as well.

Should be a good one....but the LSU is so explosive this year.....if there is a clean game played with few penalties, I'd expect LSU to have a great chance to win the game. As good as LSU's stats are on offense, there have been several TD's called back this year on very long plays.....that would have even furthered those stats.

The University of Alabama football team is good. The fan base? Not so much. Mostly poor winners and worse losers. The op would fall into this category. If the team fails them, I will enjoy these fans sorrow. Roll tears roll.

On the contrary I have yet to see one Bama fan post that it might be close or that LSU can win.

Since we are taking about cockiness and all...

We win by two touchdowns. Fournette hits 200 yards and three touchdowns. It's destiny this year for us and karma for Gumpland.

I don't get the cockiness , they still have to play the toughest part of their schedule. They may beat Bama but they will lose a game at some point because Harris is no where hear as good as they think.

sadly enough, this fact of us thinking we have a shot means that we are being cocky. I mean, how dare us think we can beat bama. NOBODY beats bama but bama...silly Tigers.

The fact of the matter is that if you weigh it all together, on offense and defense, LSU has the better team....they have that much of an advantage on offense to overcome the very slight disadvantage on defense. That's a fact of how this season has played out so far. Whether it continue for this game, time will tell. One huge factors is turnovers. LSU is #1 in the nation, and Alabama is around 100th. That's also a huge positive for LSU.

that's very true...but IF LSU beats Bama, more than likely they can afford a loss down the road.

This is the one I laugh at. He torched y'all and has put together three really good games in a row, two against SEC teams. He has a very strong arm and is Mobile, with a great running game and OL...and also very good WR's who are both tall and athletic. He has quickly jumped up to the highest graded SEC QB in terms of draft potential....but according to you he is highly overrated. He has not thrown an interception this year. Is he capable of having a poor game and multiple turnovers? Absolutely. Hell, it might happen at Bama. The stage might still be to big for him. But, it might not....and if Bama tries exclusively to shut down LF, he just might torch Bama's secondary with both his arms and legs.

LSU whipped your arse. You were fortunate that our special teams sucked. Take care of business in your division and beat LSU next time ok? Why don't you prove it on the field instead of talking shite behind a keyboard.

So who do we lose to if/when we beat Bama? aTm is falling apart. Ole Miss will implode in some way between now and the end of our game.

Arky always plays us like we stole their granny's Social Sec. check. So them? You think them?

If/when we beat Bama we will see you in Atlanta, assuming you make it.

Harris isn't good? You clearly haven't been watching. He makes great decisions with the ball, and is progressing fantastically. If he's not that good, who in the SEC is?

Dude. You really need to get over that loss. I mean really. LSU is consuming your life. I've never seen someone so obsessed and angry about losing a game that they are begging someone...anyone....to do their business for them. Well, except for the miserable frickers who can't get over losing a national championship game...do you want to be known like them? The guy who 4 years from now is still crying about bogus penalties and wishing someone could beat Les for you???
