When you said Big 5 I thought we had finally been dropped from the Big 6

Thing is in basketball they were the darlings of the Big East. They won't get that in the ACC. It's all about Duke and UNC. They won't get the calls or the hype. But we'll see.

Somethings going on up there. How TF does Louisville have 5 mother frickers that can throw 95-98?

Do they really? That's fricking stout.

only UF winning football and basketball can maybe equal what thet hsve done so fsr this year

This doesn't even come close to what UF did. 3 major titles (2 bball/1 fball) within a span of 364 days.

Belle sees the bigger picture.

Cards are hot now but their competition is easy. TCU has already dropped since they joined the B12 and their luster is already wearing off after just 1 year.

Jurich is the best AD in the nation imo.

Quite possibly. His blunder in hiring Kragthorpe kept him from getting the FSU job I believe. If he had a homerun on that one he would be at a bigger spot now.

Louisville

A glorified U of Memphis

Really? Memphis has arguably the top Athletic Director in the nation? As much bigtime donor money as almost anyone? Elite level facilities and a commitment to winning throughout their University?

Louisville was a huge coupe for the ACC.

TCU started 16 true freshman last year plus had their QB out of school and in drug rehab. Even so they beat Texas in Austin, were one play away from beating OU the following week, and gave Michigan State all it wanted in its bowl game. For a first year in a major conference that's not shabby.

SEC definitely missed out. i can see why UK wants no part of Da Ville in the SEC.

The Big 12 could have had them too (in fact they were outright begging for an invite).

All sports not just football
TCU is a market the B12 already had
TCU will go from being the leader in a small conference to average in a bigger one

Made the most sense based on markets and size. Cards are not a SEC school due to size and ability to grow. Just in football you are probably looking at 80,000 stadium (besides Vandy) just to be at the bottom and 100,000 to actually be a player.
