Ala, Ark, LSU, Texas Aggies, Ole Miss still all have legitimate shots at the crown, all look talented. Ala still has some tough road games, they allowed 40pts to Ole Miss, so anything is likely to happen especially this season. The SEC West is tough.

Other then Ole Miss I can't argue with you. I think the Rebels drop at least one more in conference game, and yes, I think it probably happens after another second half collapse.

I'm not ready to start heaping dirt onto LSU until they lose a conference game.

Arkansas and A&M is almost a West elimination game. A loss now puts one of those teams behind the 8 ball in a big way.

He's not discounting the fact THAT you scored. He's saying not all of it is on the D in response to a person saying Bama's D just gave up 40+. It didn't. The team did.

No, South Alabama beat them so they aren't very good. You frickin kidding me?

Then if Etling leads another victory on the plains, Auburn is 1-3 and they "arent very good".

If Etling plays well on offense and LSU moves the ball then that will be a big step to prove LSU has found some balance and Etling can win some games. Auburn isn't an elite defense, but they are a solid defense and it is on the road.

LSU had a similar offensive performance vs State that South Alabama did. Etling had a similar performance that USA's QB did. That's fine, and a good step, but WTF do you want here?

For the most part Miss. ST. didn't stop them. LSU has a new QB and he is growing into the starting role, mid to late season this O could look a lot better....time will tell.

Or as teams get more film on him playing they develop schemes to stop him and he is no better than Brandon Harris by the time Bama comes to town...time will tell, but LSU still has Miles running the show.

That's exactly the case. Bama's offense scored 27 points against your defense.

True Miles is still running the show, but if you can't tell Etling is running the O much better than Harris now I don't know what to tell you.
I'm not saying Etling is a all world QB, but he does
do some things right, but for LSU to do anything he and the rest of the team have to get better.

The last 3 champs had a loss in their first two conference games. Everyone is still in it right now.

Etling and Dallas Davis (USA's QB) both had similar completion percentages with Davis racking up more yards on Mississippi State.

To use Mississippi State as an example of your offense getting better is laughable to say the least. Especially when you consider the fact that your offense gained 392 yards compared to South Alabama's 379 against the same damn team.

Mississippi State will be lucky to win 5 games this year.

I will give LSU two more conference wins at least.
I think LSU defense will keep them in games but will the offense produce enough to win? After Auburn , LSU schedule gets a lot tougher.

Was it the 95 total yards of offense in the second half that led you to this conclusion?

The delusion is back with a vengeance. Saturday's game is a battle of whose coach is getting fired, and they're talking about winning the division.

Okay, I'm not going to argue that either. The LSU fan said Ole Miss put up 40+ on Alabama and I said it was only 36 Don't get so butt hurt because your team lost.

To look at it another way, Ole Miss put over 40 pts. two years in a row on Alabama, a team that's had five no1. recruiting classes in a row. What's up that, is this WAC or the SEC? Is it due to Bama can't recruit the best defensive players or can't coach them?
