What is Elite? Winning the conference in the past 5-10 years?
If so, lots of teams aren't elite.
Including those in the top 10.

I have nothing against The Vols but maybe the problem was not Dooley or Jones... Is just Tennessee.
Georgia, LSU, Bama, Florida all have tons of home grown talent, Tenn does not. They strived in the 90's when UGA, LSU didn't have their shite together. In today's game they just don't have the goods I'm afraid.

We have a good football team that could very well be 4-0 right now. Are we great? No, but to compare us to Vandy and Kentucky is beyond stupid.
