Who would've thought that all it would take for Merlin to beat Ole Miss in recruiting and have a decent recruiting class would be for Ole Miss to fire its entire staff and go basically months without recruiting anybody, while at the same time every other school in the country changes coordinators and head coaches.

I bet he's kicking himself for not trying that out a few years ago...

Your hate for me is almost parallel to your hate for Stansbury. And I don't know why? I have no hard feelings or dislike toward you.

I hate no one; certainly not you or Stansbury. Why don't you ask everyone here if their perception of you is that you tend to make stuff up?

This is a MESSAGE BOARD, not the New York Times. I post second hand information, but so does 99% of the other posters on here. As for the 4 year contracts in the State of Mississippi, I posted a link, was I 100% on my information? Probably not, but I was basing it on what a teacher told me in a class. My apologies.

You are the reason people in nursing homes shouldn't have access to the internet. You really are a miserable old geezer.

I was referring to your posts towards Bundy, you senile old frick.

Yes, he did get out coached, but my coach is also still coaching high school. Nowhere in my post did I deny saying that. A do not revive tag would do wonders for your little comprehension problem.

Ok. I see your point. Ole Miss should pass on five stars if they have any indications of problems. They can do that.

You're twisting words. There's a big difference in "not wanting" someone and "not going after anymore". If we thought we had a great shot at quay then we would have kept recruiting hard, that doesn't mean we stopped recruiting him, we just let up on him because of his issues, our numbers, and the large amount of clean up we are going to have to go through. State is in a much better position to take quay and James, we aren't.

be wary of the Hugh Freeze. He learned how to recruit from Bebe Orgeron. He knows all the shady tricks and so will his staff. I dont think merlins will compete with the slimeball aspect of recruiting like the way orgeron taught freeze.

Orgeron didnt do anything shady. He just blew up every recruits phone 24/7. He spent twice as much twice recruiting and half as much time coaching compared to normal coaches. Freeze learned how important it is to have the HC call a recruit vs an assistant like Nutt would assign

No, Hornsby was a thug. Quay seems like a drama queen and a headcase. Not the same thing.
