Given that Duke is the NCAA Golden Child, maybe we can get all the commentary about the NCAA playing favorites a bit of a rest? Big names can get some favoritism, though that has more to do with the big name coaches getting into the ref ears, but the paranoia about systemic corruption is really overblown. USC is proving that right now.

More likely.. they pulled so much bullshite in the previous game that they can't afford to screw South Carolina.

Outside of maybe one or two calls I feel like this game has been called far better than the UNC-Arkansas one.

It's a different set of refs, you know. These refs likely didn't even watch your game, let alone feel any obligation arising from it.
