It is supposed to rain Friday night and into Sat morning...done by noon.

Doc AFA Weather Forecast Record: 6-0. Thanks be to God and the spot-on Air Force Weather Agency Ensembles!

***NOTE: If you want updates on game day, please go follow me on Twitter...@Doc_Sanger. This is how I update my followers, since I am at Kyle or at the opposing team's field on game days. However, I will update the weather thread on the road as partying permits!

BOTTOM LINE: The rain chances have gone down ever so slightly to 40% from Midnight Yell Practice to early afternoon, where they decrease to 30% for kick off and 20% to end the game. Thus, you will still need either a jacket or poncho with jeans as the clouds and possible precip keep the temps in the mid-60s with an easterly breeze of 5-10 mph.

Midnight Yell Practice: Cloudy and cool with a 40% chance of light rain and a temperature of around 58F. Easterly winds at 3-5 mph. Relative humidity around 95%.

Tailgate Weather: Cloudy and cool with a 40% chance of light rain decreasing to 30% in afternoon just prior to kick off. Relative humidity of 95% in the morning falling to 85% by afternoon. Easterly winds at 5-10 mph. The low in the morning will be 57F and the high will only be 67F. Total rainfall amounts between 0.02 and 0.04 inches.

Kickoff Weather: Mostly cloudy and cool with a chance of light rain. Easterly winds at 5-10 mph. Relative humidity around 85%. Total rainfall between a trace and 0.05 inches.

Temp: 67F at kickoff, 66F at half, and 64F by end of game
Relative Humidity: 85%
Heat Index: N/A
Winds: Easterly at 5-10 mph
Chance of Rain: 30% to start and 20% to end
Chance of Thunderstorms: 5%

Not a good sign for Auburn then. Auburn couldnt tackle at all vs LSU in the 1st half when it was raining hard

Really thinking about putting money for auburn to win. Hoping they pull it off.

Rain would favor Auburns run game.

What what?

Weren't there a ton of Auburn fans claiming the rain really hurt them in the LSU game?

Now it's going to help?

Rain would be bad for Auburn. After the LSU game, I asked Auburn folk if Nick Marshall might have small hands -- he does. Manziel has huge hands.

Most of the time, not so big a deal, but for a QB in serious rain, very big deal. Hoping the weather moderates.

Does not compute. Did you not see how they failed to pass against LSU in the rain?

Manziel could be the sole rusher in this game and aTm would win.

Yeah Marshall said himself he had smallish hands and that was the reason for him going with two gloves in the 1st half of the LSU game.

That wasn't Auburn's main problem though. Putting Hill within the 20 after a TO was.

Should be fine on game day. Kyle has one of these new sand drainage systems so that it wouldn't be muddy even if was pouring rain.

The tackling had nothing to do with the rain, and everything to do with Johnson's experimental deviation from the base defense. After AU switched back to base, they slowed the running attack.
