Maybe he has improved... Harris can't be much worse then he was last year.

Stop and think about something for a moment. Harris was shut down by the Arkansas passing defense last season. The same defense that opposing QBs couldn't wait to play against since they knew they would put up career highs.

The only other SEC teams that didn't carve up our secondary like a Thanksgiving Turkey were the Vols and Mizzou. Dobbs is a great guy but a horrible passer and Mizzou was just playing out the string so they could close the door on a horrible season. Everyone else torched us.

Maybe wait a while before proclaiming him the second coming of Johnny Unitas.

LSU special teams handed the gators TWO TDs and a Brandon Harris led offense put up 35 was it on that mighty "D".

Gators came in giving up less than 100 ypg rushing. LF7 had 100+ at the half.

He still ended up having a higher passer rating vs Bama than Brandon Harris.

And a Loss to both

You know that Harris played with a sports hernia right? I say he did alright considering it's his 1st year as a starter

Statistically, he was in the top half of SEC QBs last year (#7 in ypg & QBR). I think he can make the jump to be a top 3-4 QB in the SEC this year.

Quarterback Brandon Harris connected on 16-of-20 passes for 246 yards to lead a trio of LSU signal callers that combined to complete 41-of-52 attempts as the Tigers held their first full-scale scrimmage of the spring here Saturday in Tiger Stadium.

Was Harris in a non-contact jersey? Was it really a full-scale scrimmage? How did he look in spring practice '15?

TIA.

and on top of that Miles is notorious for making up scrimmage statistics

I bet Kim Jong Miles played golf and made 18 holes in one.

That was just a few weeks before that same opponent put up 42 on Alabama despite committing four turnovers. Yeah, pretty embarrassing to give up a lot of points to that Ohio State team.

No, apparently not.

Hard to know. I'm sure they ran some situational plays.
