more shocking how small of a scoreboard they were still using in 2014 than what they will have now.

What? It was installed in ~2005 & was the largest high def scoreboard at the time.

Why did you people care so much about Nick Sabans daughters wedding to launch a 4,000 page thread about it? Because it's the offseason and people like to bitch about stupid shite on here.

And? That just means you were one of the first to get an HD scoreboard. That doesn't mean it's big. That scoreboard was 56th in size in FBS. Hence the reason you're upgrading.

...but if they aren't going to expand - why not utilize the space? The idea of the backside of the scoreboard projecting the game to tailgaters is pretty cool, IMO.

Exactly. I think it's brilliant on their part. They have people talking about their stadium again without paying for a huge expansion.

So by giving a shite about something pointless you're really just retaliating for others giving a shite about something else pointless...Way to stick it to 'em.

Fans want the following from a Stadium:

1.Good views of the field
2.Easy access to Concessions and Restrooms
3.Quality Food at a reasonable cost
4.Good sound Systems
5.Large Video and Replay Board

AU is taking care of 4 and 5 with this Video Board.

Exactly. Sounds like a good move on Auburn's part.

Well you don't get that from a stadium. Learn to read.

While I may not like the finished product, I have no problem with a huge arse screen in theory. While it might be distracting, the Dallas one is more so because it is way more intrusive.

Anyway, it makes sense for us considering a) we don't need 2 closed in end zone decks but we want a closed in feel, b) it is a nice incremental move heading into the other end zone demo and rebuild and c) it will continue to help make up for having only one screen until we finalize plans for the other end zone and finish it.

If you're going to flame, at least do it in a scenario that makes sense. All you've shown is a complete lack of reading comprehension.

Auburn is 14-1 on that field under Gus Malzahn.

Including giving Les Miles his worst loss while at LSU.

You have used too many reals and they become a negative. Therefore, enjoy Bama's 17 point loss at Jordan Hare this season. Now that is REAL talk Bubba.
