There was a thread not long ago showing how hiring a Saban assistant wasn't a good idea.
How it seemed that ex saban assistants were bringing down SEC schools from the inside. That the only current exception to the rule was Jim McElwain
Anybody have a link to it?

Is this serious?
Ever heard of Jimbo Fisher or Mark Dantonio?
ETA: Ahhhh SEC. Regardless, his assistants have a decent track record.

I mean I think offensive Saban assistants turn out okay so far but the defensive ones (excepting D'Antonio who worked his way up post Saban) fail and fail hard.
Meyer has already surpassed Saban in terms of a coaching tree with just Mullen, Whittingham and Addazio, if Herman succeeds as well its not even close.
