Bo and Damien will be developed by next year, all will be good. I was just referring to this season.

This was a weird season on that front. I felt bad for Drake --- he never looked the same after last year, imo, and then he broke his arm.

2012 I cannot comment on, my team was so bad that year my eyes glazed over. 2014? Statistically, are you sure about that?

I always saw Alabama as based on a strong D with a strong running game.

I'm not doubting bama again like I did before this season started. Nope, never again.
By nature I'm a doubter, but I've learned over the years to trust the PROCESS. Nick has got this!

Honest question: What would Bama's record be today if they had not had Derrick Henry all year?

Who knows? It's not like we would have just lined up and tossed the ball into the empty backfield. They would have played one of the 5* young RB's, and if that wasn't working well, looked for something that did.

Is it Scar? There must be some trust issues there or Henry would not have been in so late in so many games... or maybe he is still not 100 percent?

If RB wants to get any meaningful reps on a Saban coached team, he better be able to be trusted in pass blocking. I'd say over half the RBs coming out of high school have enough ability to take a handoff and hit a hole, but if they can't be trusted to protect the QB on a pass play, the only time they're likely to see is in mop up duty or when there just aren't any other options.

Still winning 10 games

I would be shocked at any less.

Bo and Harris (with a freshman Emmons) should be fine. Bo could be elite very soon.

Our WR group and OL should be nasty next year, so that will take a lot of pressure off Barnett and the RBs.

We only returned 10 starters this year...3 on offense. New QB and new RB.

I think we will be fine. It's not like the next guys in line have never seen the field. We rotate in 4 and 5 star guys pretty regularly.

Scarborough may be a stud and Bama just reloads on Defense and figures out a way to produce just enough offense to win 10+. Next year will be no different. Every team in the West has question marks. Aggy, hawgs, tGrind and Gumps replace their Qbs....LSU keeps their QB(not a compliment), and Auburn just signed the backup QB at East MS JUCO. Ole Miss has best QB returning, but is losing some big leaders on both sides of the ball....So when in doubt, always put your $$$ on Saban and Bammer.

Bama will lose 4 to 5 games. You know, just like this year.
