Looking at bamas 2025 schedule I can see why Saban isn’t happy with the 9 game schedule

Currently they have @florida st and a home game against Wisconsin. If they have a 9 game sec schedule that includes auburn, Tennessee and LSU I’d be pissed as well in my final year coaching.

To be fair I was looking at LSUs schedule the next few years because I’d like to go to the USC game in Vegas. I was surprised we have a home and home with Clemson in the years following. Then I looked up bama and Georgia.

Sabun and the Gumps already had those teams on their schedule, so obviously Sabun was more worried that adding another east div team, like Kentucky or Vandy. He surely wouldn't worry about a Sooner UTerus game.
Whatever reason, he had Sankey and the rest delay a final schedule solution until after he be gone. Which I suspect is THIS year.

If we had that schedule I’d be ecstatic. That means I have 11 awesome games and one cup cake. That would be an absolutely great season to watch.

Thats why Carolina doesnt want the 9 game schedule, but we scheduled like that from now until 2030
