Spot on. BR morning radio guys were talking about him this morning, he comes across as cocky and arrogant but there's something about him you still admire. He really is the perfect fit for that school and fanbase.

He can get away with it because his teams are built on stone (strong offensive and defensive lines, and players who are high quality both on and off the field) and not on sand (overloading recruiting classes with questionable characters, gimmick offense). He knows the recipe for lasting success and is confident success will come.

There seems to be genuine affection between Bert and his players, going both ways. Those guys would go to war for him.

How can you not like Bert? fricking dude trolls hard, married a hot trashy piece of arse well above his fricking rotund paygrade, and coaches a tough brand of football in the age of grab arse spread flag football wannabe bullshite.

Hard to think of a coach I'd rather play for at this point. Obviously bias and def. fat but still, he just oozes charisma.
Apparently he pulled pretty wicked puss before Jen. Chicks will get over fat if you're rich, tall and have game. Just the way it is.
Hard to understand, other than a few $100 handshakes why any young kid would choose a tool like Gus over Bert after meeting and chilling with them both.
