Isn't this already the third or fourth thread on this game from 1999 already this week? Come on Saturday.

LSU-Auburn is a great series and is underrated IMO.

So many great games.

Auburn travels to LSU on Saturday as seven-point underdogs and while cigars may not be on the menu, don't be surprised if the game seems familiar. Like Auburn in 1999, this group of Tigers enters a rare afternoon game at LSU following two unimpressive victories, including a scare from an FCS opponent. Whether Auburn can repeat history under Gus Malzahn remains to be seen.

Very underrated rivalry!! This match up has been one of the best for years. Although Bama has eclipsed it since Saban took over. If it wasnt for that, Auburn would be our biggest rivalry in my opinion.

Is this the story about how it wasn't supposed to be a sign of disrespect?

Eta: nevermind . I was thinking about the story about how the Earthquake game wasn't any thing special.

Carry on.

The stunt was trashy and Tubberville was paid back in full with interest.
