That is really shocking. Dude is horrible. I'm actually the most surprised that Murray is still available

Lots of terrible QBs get drafted because the NFL obsesses over measurables like height and weight vs measurables like comp %.

Coaches think lots of things can be fixed through coaching but they are often wrong.

lulz norwood ahead of AJ

Norwood is the first Bama player not to slide in the draft

I love Norwood on the Seahawks right there. That guy has got potential to be a very very solid third wide receiver

that's pretty damning of those 3

I think it's more damning for how desperate Arizona is to match Kapernick and Wilson in their division.

This isn't shocking at all. NFL teams will take shots at kids with elite physical talent on the off-chance that they can use their superior coaching to flip the light switch. If nothing, Logan Thomas has a hell of a lot of upside as a Tight End.

If Murray hadn't torn his ACL I think he could have been a first rounder.

He'd be a better backup than Chase Daniel's awful arse.

Somebody is just going to take him on a flier pick

If he's still around in the 6th I would like to see the Saints pick him. Mett would have a chance to learn from Payton and Bree's. If he doesn't pan out, they don't lose much.

I'll admit, Murray could never be the TE Thomas will be

Idk buddy. I am a dawg and all but even when healthy I had him 3rd round tops or a team reaching in the 2nd.

I'd rather have Mett or Murray start for my team with a torn ACL than a healthy Thomas

No way, otherwise he would have been drafted already even with the injury (see: Brandon Thomas from Clemson who went in the 3rd round despite tearing his ACL in a workout). The problem with Murray is that he's small...but unlike Manziel he cant run around and make things happen with his legs.

Most overrated QB ever imo, sure he has great intangibles but he never produced on the field. Pretty bad that he went before those 3.

Obviously some team adviser sees potential in his size hoping for another Cam Newton. Most knew that Murray would go late due to his lack of size and just coming off an ACL. Mett is proto-type pro-set QB but also had an ACL a the end of last season and has had character issues. McCarron I can't explain. He has the size, takes care of the ball and has been a winner at Bama. Maybe his arm strength is a question, don't know.

I am not saying he's a scrambler but Murray's quickness is underrated. He can move around fine. shite, he had this gem vs Tennessee. That isn't his only run either. All the focus is on his passing which is totally justified but he's not a statue back there. Definitely more mobile than a Mett, McCarron or other options.
