Except that LSU would make almost nothing for a game scheduled 3 days in advance. We went through this last year and had a game day attendance of 43,000. You can't just snap your fingers and make 102,000 paying customers appear.
Business will not allow LSU to move next year's home game. Sucks for Florida, but LSU didn't make the hurricane dance up the Florida coast.

Scott is a BIG Bama homer.
He said as early as mid November 2006 Saban was coming to Bama so he usually speaks the truth. What he says you pretty much can believe.
On McElwain, its hard to argue with him. I can see where the SEC said hey, just move it to BTR but he gets no return game. If they gave UF two home games straight he might give some but this is not South Carolina coming in. He has a chance to win this game and isn't about to make his team play an away game when he doesnt have to.
I personally don't think you risk playing in G'ville unless this thing completely breaks up but I can see where Mac is coming from too.

You can pretty much rest assured it isn't true.
And the coach won't make the call at all. The conference and the ADs will.

This is a Bama guy that reported this, not an LSU guy. So take it up with him. Very believable from the Gators saying all day they weren't Carolina and were putting their foot down.
