if it played out similar, none of those teams would have gone. USC and OK were 1/2 all season. buts it cute that you think this way. BTW, our game isnt this week

I will bet you $1 million that none of those teams would have played in the championship under the same circumstances.

Agree, when you have the poll darlings Okla and USC in the conversation everyone else is an afterthought.

I'll take this bet with you. But in doing so, I will take my standard 6% booking fee. Since this bet can never be satisfied or proven, it will be a push. Neither of us wins but I will keep my 6% booking fee. Deal? Let's shake on it.

Aubie has officially taken up all the available space in the small gump mind when gumps start asking stupid questions from nearly 10 years ago.

No. Doubt. About. It.

I know that serious responses don't belong in this troll thread but I feel like if Georgia were to go undefeated, we might get snubbed, because that would just be the most Georgia thing ever.

They wouldn't have jumped USC. The West Coast would deliver it to them. The Texas media would give Oklahoma the nod, and the Florida/Atlanta media would probably give it to the gumps. At that point it probably comes down to who has the most star power to appeal to Chicago/NY. Stoops was the hottest coach in college football at the time, and they had a Heisman Trophy Winner, and Adrian Peterson. I'd say Oklahoma gets the nod.

Yeah I figured Georgia and Tennessee would be on the fence... but I gave Tenneessee the benefit of the doubt since they had won a prior NC in the BCS era.

Your premise is still false though. Bama wouldn't have gone. I already proved it.
