No, not really.

Mizzou is 1-1 vs Auburn all time, therefore, we are equal historically. Same with LSU...there are other examples just like this .Thats the logic you just tried to drop in here.

That makes you a basic simpleton. No projection, just an accurate observation.

So Kentucky can't speak of when they won the SEC because it was in the 70s but you've started at least one thread to talk shite about Kentucky's lack of a CWS birth when yours came before the Civil Rights Era?

Shut the frick up, kilo. You hypocritical pussy.

there's no way to determine ultimately between Kentucky and Missouri of which is the better football program historically.

All-time wins is a non-factor always because programs all started in different years.

Post-WW2 both programs have 2 conference titles with Kentucky in 1950 and 1976, 1 shared and 1 outright. Missouri won in 1960 and 1969 with 1 shared and 1 outright.

Bowl wins is rather close in perspective with Mizzou leading 12-8. MU has 4 top bowl wins to UK at 2 top bowl wins. Still, not enough to separate the two historically.

Kentucky was on probation in 1977 finishing with a 10-1 record. Played one less conference game than SEC champion Alabama (11-1). In essence it was good enough for an unofficial SEC title repeat.

Missouri's resurgence with 4 division titles in 2007, 2008, 2013, 2014 helps their cause some, but never resulted in a conference title.

Missouri was the best team in 2007 by season's end but not defeating Oklahoma in the CCG hurt them historically as far as separation from many others.

Both programs have 0 national championships but can lay claim to 1 each:

1950 Kentucky (11-1) and 1960 Missouri (11-0)

Kentucky stands out more in the NC story as they defeated the national champion of 1950 in the Sugar Bowl (Oklahoma).

That's all subjective. Plus, winsipedia has no clue regarding the history of national championships. Hell, if Paula Deen named Slippery Rock as a champion in 1975, Winsipedia would honor it.

Winsipedia doesn't help Missouri separate from Kentucky.

Mizzou:
.545 all time win %
15 Conference titles
5 division titles
31 Bowl Appearances
253 weeks in AP poll

Kentucky:
.494 all time win %
2 Conference titles
0 division titles
16 Bowl Appearances
78 weeks in AP poll

There is no reasonable logic that would reconcile the above stats with the claim that those two are "equal"

I get that you like to troll Mizzou being that you're a dust eater from Okie but you just look silly with all the mental gymnastics

majority of Mizzou's conference titles don't hold much weight seeing as they are very old and irrelevant like the Ivy League's national championship claims.

All-time win percentage is meaningless.

Division titles are meaningless if they don't result in conference titles.

Bowl appearances are worth more if judging by the big ones - Orange, Rose, Cotton, Fiesta, Sugar

I'll give you the AP Poll weeks ranked metric.

Still, overall a draw.

Where's your proof? From what I have gathered in person and on here, Kansas fans are more than right when it comes to Missouri fans being total blowhards as they try to inflate their superiority in sports that aren't there.

I'll own you any day in football prestige and program comparisons. Missouri is crap. Missouri is the Rosie O'Donnell of the SEC.

Your logic is this:

If you ignore all the standard and widely acceptable metrics to compare programs historically in which Mizzou clearly surpasses Kentucky. Mizzou and Kentucky are equals.

You have been basically trolling Mizzou and aTm since you joined this site. You are what you are. The kU thing was a nice touch. maybe you are a Grits alter?

I don't troll Missouri and Texas A&M. I put you/their fans in their places. The inferiority complex is strong, especially since joining the SEC, and both have done nothing to contribute to the SEC championship lore.

Produce trophies of merit. Then you can roll with the elite.

Bear Bryant's tenure at Kentucky is historically greater then Missouri football will ever be

Dan Devine's Mizzou era laughs at this.

Now your posting is getting downright stupid in your attempt to troll

Devine was at Missouri for 13 seasons and his best finish was #5 in 1960 when they finished 10-1. That year was the last time the Gophers were golden and beat doth Nebraska @ Nebraska and Kansas State @ home but both were down that year. Missouri played mostly just Big Eight schools and no B1G or SEC schools so it is harder to say they were the better conference that year.

Bryant was at Kentucky for 8 seasons and his best finish was #7 in 1950 when they finished 11-1. That year the polls closed the week before the final game of the regular season following a 7 point loss @ Tennessee which dropped the Cats from #3 to #7. The difference is UK went on to beat #1 Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl and a Bud Wilkinson team in January of 1951 who had not lost a game since September 25 of 1948.

In short, Bear Bryant ruined one of the greatest streaks in college football history. In the common context of modern football UK would have been awarded the NC based on the now common ending poll taken after the conclusion of the bowl season. For the OU apologist who say bowl games did not matter, during the Oklahoma streak they still beat #3 UNC in the Sugar for the 1948 season and #9 LSU in the Sugar for the 1949 season.

As for those claiming the MNC that season
Oklahoma for winning the poll taken before the regular season ended (before Army - Navy)
Tennessee for beating UK during the season and beating Texas in their bowl
Kentucky for beating a legendary team on a massive streak after the polls had closed

On a side note, both Kentucky and Maryland wins in bowls were watershed events for the polls to move their final poll to after the bowl season. Since this is now commonplace it is clear the current method is the accepted one.

Still does not help your case tho in sports

UK is 10-0 in basketball vs Missouri
VU is 14-0 in baseball vs Missouri
