I don't know about you, but I'd be glad my team even made it that far. And it's not like Mississippi State has some rich history where a NCG is commonplace.

You know Bama held you to 131 total yards of offense that year right? In a game they didn't hype or prep for remotely similarly to either LSU matchup that year.

Don't forget they also lost to South Alabama and BYU. No chance against LSU with pathetic losses like that.

I don't think you have to worry about it ever happening to MSU either.
Not like MSU can go undefeated a whole season, beat the #3(Oregon), #15(WVU), #1(Bama), and # 3 (Ark) team again in one season. Yeah, we got our butts kicked by the team we had beat little over two months prior. It stung and it sucked, but if it weren't for that little anomaly, everyone in their right mind would be preaching how that was the greatest CFB team in SEC and possibly NCAA history. Give us OSU, and we wreck those pretenders like a rented mule.
