Let's talk Wide Receivers

I've seen many posts about the best RBs QBs DLs etc. lately, but no one has really discussed the wideouts much. Who are your projected starters? How do you feel? Who could make an impact? For LSU:
WR1 D.J. Chark- Really had an exceptional season last year with quite a few receiving and rushing TDs. I'm excited to see what he will do in Canada's offense this year
WR2 Dee Anderson- Had a pretty good freshman season even though he had a limited number of receptions. He has a big frame at about 6'5 and he has the potential to be the next great LSU receiver
WR3 Russell Gage- Converted safety who worked his way up the depth chart, seems to give great effort and is a very good downfield blocker. He was also our leading receiver against A&M last year with 5 receptions and a TD.
Under the Radar Guy: Drake Davis- Didn't get much PT last year but is a freak athlete. In addition to football, he played soccer and basketball in high school. He's about 6'3-6'4 but also has great speed and could potentially be a great return specialist.

SC is going to be loaded at WR this season ... but so will a half dozen other programs in this league.

You and I have different definitions of the word "exceptional".

Yup. Auburn will be loaded too, but with inexperienced underclassmen.
We have 4 guys who all flashed brilliance last year as freshmen, but obviously didn't have the numbers with the situation at QB
-Kyle Davis
-Nate Craig-Myers
-Darius Slayton
-Eli Stove
All could be stars. On top of that there's a couple other guys who are very solid. At least 2 more who will be freshmen this year with huge upside

J'Mon Moore is the leading returning WR in the conference. Mason and Johnson both were on the all FR team. We also return 2016 starter Nate Brown from injury.
We are stacked

He had an exceptional year compared to every other WR we have that's for sure. No one else did anything for us.

Googer and Davis will both have breakout seasons this year as well IMHO, and be major contributors.
I know they want to redshirt Shi Smith ... but he's going to have something to say about that probably.

WRU is looking good.
WR1: Kirk - 1 of two 800+ yard receivers in the league
WR2: Ausbon - freshman wanted by every program in the league
WR3: Merritt - SPARQ champion, best athlete in louisiana HS history.
WR4: like it fricking matters

So its Kirk, a true freshman and a transfer that couldn't get on the field for a 4-8 Oregon team? Awesome. We'll just stick Donte on Kirk and beat y'all by 30 again.

Man, Speedy Noil was the best athlete in Louisiana HS History. You are crazy.
What ever happened to him?

Auburn has kicked UGA's butt on the recruiting trail for WRs.
We have some opportunities for success this year. But I hope to see us use our RBs and attack linebackers in space this season.

Auburn has tons of talent. Hopefully we throw it to them.

Helluva group right there.
Throw in Hurst along with Dowdle out of the backfield and Mr. Bentley has a couple of options...

Semi-established:
Riley Ridley - probably will be the go-to outside guy
Terry Godwin - slot, talented but needs to block better
Javon Wims - bigger guy with some good tools. Made some big plays last year. Hopefully he puts it together.
Others who have played a lot:
Michael Chigbu - good blocker, can't catch
Jayson Stanley - see Chigbu description
Wildcards:
Jeremiah Holloman - 4* TFr.
Tyler Simmons - Sophomore who got limited pt last year
Mark Webb - 4* TFr.
Mecole Hardman - Sophomore former 5* who has been playing DB. Will probably get touches.

This is probably the best group of WRs UF has had since 2008. Hopefully someone can consistently get them the ball because they are open.
Starters
Callaway - Jr
Cleveland - So
Massey - Jr
Backups
Powell - Sr
Hammond - So
Swain - So
Wells - R Fr
James Robinson or Daquon Green could get in the rotation at WR come fall as freshmen, especially Robinson.
