Either and NC State since Duke and UNC will not separate.

Expansion is a matter of when not if. Big 10 and SEC are eventually going to 24 a piece and leave the NCAA because money trumps tradition or culture.

Now for the schools FSU and Clemson are obvious because they bring money and we don’t want them in the Big 10.

For other ACC schools that would bring money I see see UNC, Duke, and I guess a combination of UVA,VT, Miami, or Louisville. ACC schools don’t bring a lot of value.

Hell no! We've watered down our conference too much the last two expansions. No more expansions.

Won’t get UNC without NCSU or UVA without VT. State legislatures will get involved.

Removing Mizzou or replacing them with UVA would give the piggies a little better chance of getting bowl eligible most years. I see your point.

Is Virginia considered Southern?

Not a bright question...

Absolutely no to VA Tech. Those fans act like they have the history of Michigan, when Ole Miss has more.

That answers the question about Virginia...

Yeah, but the ACC is dying right before our eyes right now. So I'm guessing the SEC will be expanding soon.
The ACC may be on death row, but you know how long those appeals take. Don't put too much credence into these random tweets claiming that some kind of negotiated settlement is imminent; they were wishcasting based upon a hypothetical mentioned in the ACC's motion to dismiss FSU's Florida suit.

The ACC might die before 2036, but I'm skeptical about it happening through litigation, or anyone being able to buy their way out in the next couple of years.

Seems more imminent to me. ESPN threatening FSU with felony charges. Option expiring in next couple years. Lots of unhappy campers being so far behind. Something big is breaking in next year.

North Carolina had more battlefield casualties than any state in the confederacy.

None of which matters with relation to what schools should be included in the SEC.

UVA easily. What does Tech provide other than Michael Vick playing there a quarter century ago?
I resided in Blacksburg recently, and I guarantee you that you are dead wrong. From a football standpoint, VT has a very loyal fanbase that sells out its stadium for every conference game. Snotty UVA people look down their noses at the SEC and college football in general. The big donors hate football. It's very disappointing what Mr. Jefferson's university has come to be.
