Kills.....if Mizzou couldn't compete in the Big 12, why in the hell do you think they could ever dominate the SEC? Mizzou is not a threat to the big dogs in the SEC now, and they never will be

MU might play spoiler from time to time but no, will never pose a year in/year out threat to the big dogs.

How about Pressey's pass for no reason into the 3rd row in the final seconds of the game against, I think it was A&M.

I expected Mizzou to walk in and compete with UK and UF for the SEC crown. I was disappointed because you guys played some high quality ball over the past few years.

Including beating UF.

Thanks dude, I think by the time you live the stuff 8 hrs a day (or more) for 4 years it is doable

The PEs I work with are amazing though. Ask about a project from 6 years ago? No problem, they remember every last detail about it. Crazy

Ever since I first learned what a PE was I thought it was a cool goal. Something meaningful after college that proves you know shite not just from a book

O.k...now the real reason.

Without Mizzou, the SEC had an odd number of Feline Mascots. You couldn't have 2 tigers and a wildcat and have any sort of symmetry. Now you have 2 cats in the East and 2 cats in the West. Balance is restored...

The super secret reason is because Slive recognized a future power shift from the southeast to the midwest/southwest (ie. A&M, Arkansas, and Missouri).

We'll be running this conference by the end of the decade.

No, no you won't. If Mizzou wants to ever be considered a year to year big dog in a conference then they should move to conference USA, or maybe the Big East.

Not true at all. All it shows is that you know shite from a pamphlet. The PE exams are a joke as are about 50% of the registered PEs out there.

The idea was the St. Louis market; however there were so many better choices (in my opinion): Florida State, Georgia Tech, shoot even Louisville to name a few

C'mon people, what don't you understand about expanding your footprint? At least argue for North Carolina and Virginia if you're going to bash the addition of Mizzou. As the poster said above, we bring 3 top 100 TV markets, and Kansas City consistently ranks as a top 3 college sports viewership market.

Trust me, the value of TV markets as leverage for a mammoth Television contract and network setup FAR outweigh any payouts from bowl games or tournament appearances.
