I think it is quite the compliment to Alabama that at any given time there are multiple threads about Alabama and Deboer, started by opposing fans, on the first page. Deboer hasn’t coached a game yet at Alabama, but many here spend a significant amount of time worrying about him and posting about him.

What Bama should really be focused on is who do they hire in 2027. DeBust was a panic hire and they know it. They should spend more time lining some guys up this time. Saban really fricked them. The only reason I say he’s gone in 2027 and not 2026 is that he’ll probably get some fools’ gold from Saban’s players this year, and escape with 3 losses.
Bama is fricked. I don’t see them being Florida, but the road to the natty won’t go through Tuscaloosa anymore. It’s over. The only reason we aren’t hearing more doom and gloom is because so many Bama fans are just bandwagon and already lost interest.

How come LSU fans haven't paid any attention to Brian Kelly's history of not being able to win championships at Notre Dame and LSU? I guess that is a good start for LSU fans to see the real truth about Brian Kelly.

I’m with you. It’s old. There’s no reason to make a post like this. DeBoer hasn’t done or said anything negative about LSU or any of our schools. His biggest crime to people here is taking the best job in college football. I definitely want to see him do well outside of his games against us.

When Saban was hired, Bammers couldn't talk enough shite in the street, online, at their drug intervention meetings, whatever.
Now Saban is retired, they've "grown out of trolling" and "don't see the point of it." No shite, Sherlock.
As for Kelly, he's in a good spot right now. If Miles and Orgeron can win a title at LSU, Kelly will as well and he'll be the 4th consecutive coach to do it there. Saban didn't win a title his first 2 years at Alabama either, but that's the bar that other SEC fanbases say Kelly has to meet. Why? Because he's a Yankee and you don't like Yankees? That's pretty much the position.

Kellys first 2 years in Baton Rouge have been objectively much better than his first 2 in South Bend.
He also has a better record here through 27 games than Saban did.
Between that and how recruiting has been trending there’s really not much to knock Kelly for. That’s why you still see people pulling out dumb, old stuff like the accent like it means something.

We’ve been talking shite about how good Deboer is.

At this point Alabama is playing with house money. If Alabama does go 8-4 or 9-3 most people will just write it off as the first year with a new system and new staff.
