6. Arkansas
7. Georgia - We'll see how Kirby does. I'm not sure if he's an upgrade over Richt.
8. Auburn
9. Texas A&M
10. Mississippi State - will be interesting to see how they do without Dak
11. Missouri
12. South Carolina - not impressed with Muschamp hire
13. Kentucky
14. Vanderbilt

I not gonna argue the ancient history. Bama had a good run. It's 2-0-0 in favor of Ole Miss in the playoff era, which is what we are talking about here. If Bama wins a natty tomorrow I'll give them a slight edge for number one in the SEC over Ole Miss. Huge gap after one and two tho.

43-37 is all that matters. Nobody cares about what happened in 1974.
I'm sure Baylor's record with the Big 12 is abysmal historically, too. But nobody gives a shite. Because all that matters is what happened last... And what happened last was 43-37. Your shitty secondary giving up nearly 50 in your home stadium. Your fans emptying the stadium early in the 4th. That's the only thing anyone remembers. Not 1940.
And the last time you lost to us, you didn't win a natty. And you still haven't won it this year. Let it sink in.

Actually bearboy the only thing that matters to Bama fans is winning our 15th national championship. Have your 43-37. Hell, hang a banner if you'd like too. I know we are about to hang another 2 banners.

Bama Eric, interesting comment. Did you know that next year when you roll into Oxford, the Reb's should be in the Top 10 and favored to beat Saban for a Third straight year with Bama another untested QB so early in the year. The luxury the Reb's has is playing Bama so early in the year but a win is a win.

I think its funny watching the OM posters say because they beat Bama that they should be at the top while at the same time totally disregarding the 38-10 asswhipping they took at the hands of UF.
