Let's praise LSU LB Devin White

I firmly believe he is responsible for LSU's bounce back game. His never quit attitude has become something to rally behind.
During the MSU game, every LSU player quit except for White. That's something that has continued for the entire season to this point. He's also a pretty good player.
It looks to me like his attitude has rubbed off on LSU's team.

White was pretty much the only player that didn't give up during the MSU and Troy games. It was nice to finally see his teammates match his hunger for more than a quarter.

I don’t think the guys who were counted on to be leaders really had a voice at the beginning of the season. So guys like White and Greedy have stepped up and backed it up with their play, and that has encouraged the older guys to step up too. He is a special player and a perfect fit for a Dave Aranda defense.

I think other players have bounced back nicely. Donte Jackson had 7 passes defended against Auburn, and absolutely should have had a pick 6 at the end of that one. He's been a nice surprise after looking shaky early.
But White is clear leader of the defense. Fun watching him play, especially those perfectly timed blitzes where goes from MLB position to up the QBs arse in a second.

Just watch him on defense and zone everything out and most of the time the ball carrier will find it's way to him.
