Vandy only needs 1. Then at 5-7 we backdoor into a bowl game when not all 80 slots are filled the usual way.

I remember when we pulled the redshirt off Bentley, after the game Booger said he didn't like the move because "this is a South Carolina team that isn't going to a bowl game"

What a turnaround

No chance. I fully expect LSU to win out and possibly shut out all 3 remaining opponents.

Need 1 Win:

Kentucky - Win 1/3 with Austin Peay, Tennessee, Louisville (could also beat Tennessee)

South Carolina - Win 1/3 with Western Carolina, Florida, Clemson (could pull off one more upset this season as well)

Georgia - Win 1/3 with ULaLa, Auburn, Georgia Tech (could also beat Ga Tech and probably will)

LSU - Win 1/3 with Arkansas, Florida, Aggy (where are these games being played, home or away? Doesn't really matter, they'll get at least one more win and possibly all three.)

Need 2 Wins:

Ole Miss - Win 2/3 with State, Vandy, Aggy (where are these games being played, home or away? Things are dicey for Ole Miss right now.)

Vanderbilt - Win 2/3 with Mizzou, Tennessee, Ole Miss (where are these games being played, home or away? Beat Mizzou but where is the other win going to come from? Actually, Vandy is capable of beating both UT and Ole Miss.)

Mississippi State - Win 2/3 with Arky, Ole Miss, Bama (where are these games being played, home or away? Could, conceivably, beat both Arky and Ole Miss but there is no room for error there.)

No Bowl Game:

Mizzou (well, at least they can begin concentrating on basketball season already ... oh, errrrr, wait)

LSU will make it though they might have to wait a week longer then some folks expect.

They have a ton of talent, don't get me wrong, but the one offensive system in college football that our DC knows how to defend (slow pro style) is what they run. Plus the weather should finally turn before they get up here so it will be cold and nasty.

Worst case scenario for Arkansas isn't a loss, its another easy win over LSU where we completely shut down their offense. Because then we might keep our DC for another season.

But what does your offense do against our defense?

Since one of their games was cancelled, LSu is bowl eligible at 5-6.

One of the wins is going to be Aggie. You're run defense is horrible.

Would 5-6 LSU accept a bowl invite?

Actually you aren't eligible at 5-6. Not sure who told you a cancelled game meant you could get by with 5 wins. I can't find it anywhere online. Pretty sure you just made that up.

LSU could get in as a 5-6 team in the same way teams got in as 5-7 last year. Those spots are given out based on academic performance.
