I think it's the most interesting hypothetical coming out of the SEC right now. Specifically with these teams, and of course if it happened, how the actual games played out would be helpful, but all 3 teams would have an amazing case.

Georgia are the actual champs, but are merely 1-1 against the toughest SECw teams (no disrespect to Arky)

Ole Miss looks like the easiest drop, but that punishes them for having the extra game.

Miss St would have been the best team for so long, lose one away game and are shoved out of the race in preference for teams who had already lost? so cruel.

I would lean towards Miss St as most deserving, but I really don't know. Curious what the rant takes are.

How does AU>UGA = UGA 11-2?

They'd be 10-2 at seasons end and would need missouri to drop another game to be in the SECCG.

I've never seen Miss = Mississippi state.

I grew up in a Big Ten town, MSU is Michigan State to me.

MSU, USC and UT I never use on the rant to refer to anyone, not trying to confuse people but I just can't refer to the SEC teams by those acronyms and if I used them for Southern Cal, Texas, or Michigan State it would just confuse people, so I don't use them at all.

Yeah but the committee already said they put emphasis on Conference Championships.

Not if he had AU losing to UGA in the SECCG. But he left a lot unsaid in his op.

True. I am guessing he had Auburn losing to Alabama.

Either way, Georgia would have had an easier schedule....it would be a mess. Obviously, I would WANT Georgia to go, but not too sure we would deserve it. In the scenario I am describing, I would say Miss St. would deserve to go.

Go to a Big 12 board.
All I know is Baylor and no other Big 12, 10, 11 however many teams there are now .. won't be participating.

This is very tough.

I think they'd put State. I really do.
