Let's gently revisit this Argument that The Chavis Camp made about "pressure"...

This was how it read in the newspaper. This Narrative was then championed by the A&M faithful and repeated gleefully 239,642 times on this board. Is this still the Narrative that Little Brother is running with, or has Little Brother accepted the fact that in the end, a gimmicky offense that can't rely on time-proven SEC ball control principles actually puts much more pressure on the defense?

I didn't read, but assume you took a shot at aggy.
With where the program is today, you probably hit your mark.

Fire sumlin.
Fire spav.
Hire Herman.
Embrace mediocrity.

Hire Tom Herman? Surprised you want a "sip" grad as your coach.

I want to win, and it's not happening with the current staff.
I don't care if we have to reanimate Bear Bryant... Something has to change.

I'm sure Chavis feels wonderful that the base is already plotting the demise of his tenure there.

God only knows how many threads could be regurgitated here on the subject. I know I participated in many that discussed Sumlin's philosophy. I pretty much left the Chavis threads alone, or redirected to Sumlin.

Best part is that as the season progresses, the cold, wet, windy conditions make it less likely to control the ball pitching and catching it.

Long live Sumlin and the Aggies.

A match made in Tiger Heaven.

All spin. There is less pressure on Chavis in general at A&M because of lower expectations. Chavis and pressure don't mix well. Its why, even with his successes, he's been a career assistant and never a head coach.

To be fair, they were right

In the Bama game their offense put up enough points (3 pick-6's), for the oppsosing team, to make sure the strain of a last minute drive would not be necessary.

In the OM game the offense also made sure that the defense wouldn't be strained by only scoring 3 points.

The bar was set so low for Chafeass when he went to junior-College Station that he is considered to be the best coach on the staff with a defense ranked 50th in scoring, 65th in total defense and 102nd in rushing defense nationally.
That's one helluva gig for $1.65 mil.

If you read this board regularly, it is apparent that he is a pathetic little man.

He is more anti-everybody than he is pro-anybody.

Read his sig quote.

And it's his own quote.

We are at the point now after The Great Dickriding Event of 2015 that Gumps are far more invested in defending Aggie narratives than Aggies are. Little Brother is listless and demoralized. And with Big Brother having a week off he has nowhere to focus his hate.
