This is one of those crazy things. Watch. Everybody is using the QB play of the SEC to predict its downfall for this year. "It's not the same SEC." Other conferences have caught up".i have a feeling all or most of these QBs play up to their hype and potential. I mean, what if they do. Watch the frick out! It will make it brutal competition-wise. But will be great arse football. And the teams will take no frickin prisoners in the bowl games.

why shouldn't Sumlin be concerned? I haven't seen great things from their present QB. yes, they signed a hoss but you never know if he'll pan out or not.
under sumlin's system his qb's will have good numbers most games no matter who's in there. imo, the best QB coming out of a&m in awhile was tannehill.

You don't think Kyle Allen burying auburn in the 1st quarter or battling back from a pick 6 in the bowl game were pretty good?
He had struggles against LSU/mizzou who were both top 20 national defenses in his first 4 games.
Sumlin gets the most out of his quarterbacks. He is very good at playing to their strengths.
When people figured out Kenny hill had huge holes in his game it fell apart.

Yeah and he was playing college football when guys on LSU's roster were using their redshirts. It's not like that was an eternity ago. It's only been 3 seasons.

Actually a lot of the expert commentators don't rank Kyle Allen that highly.
It is nice to have two 5 star QB's though. If Kyle Allen ever sprains his ankle, he'll never get the job back from Kyler Murray.

We finished 1st in the sec with DJ Welter playing the mike position for the first half of the season... The only players we lost is Hunter and Kwon. We'll easily be better than we were last year.

Lol I still can't believe LSU fans have themselves convinced that Kevin Steele is a good D coordinator.

They're not wrong about the talent overriding him, at least for now.
I think he wasn't a bad choice because they can feather the nest with recruiting when miles is gone in two years.
