JFF yep.. Another guy that was dangerous was David Palmer. I've never seen a guy that could make 5 incoming defenders miss on a punt return.

Matt Jones
I often wonder what kind of collegiate career he would have had with an OC who was committed to taking advantage of his skillset.

The point of the thread is mentioning who you would like to see on the list. The one in the OP was a suggested partial list only. Open for debate and discussion.

I have my issues with Malzahn and his tendency to get into a rut calling plays... but if Gus had total control over that Arkansas offense with Matt Jones then I think Jones places at least in the top three in the Heisman voting for a couple of years.
He was dinged up in his senior year if I recall correctly so that would have slowed him down.
Still, Arkansas had a lot of offensive talent during Jones tenure that was not used particularly well. Gus could have piled up a ton of yards and points with them.

For LSU it's gotta be these 4:
Honey Badger
Odell Beckham Jr.
Trindon Holliday
Patrick Peterson

I would put in a vote for Derrius Guice based solely on this:
Def top 10 for danger of humiliation on national TV. I don't know how many times I saw this replay on SC. So, yeah. Derrius Guice

Cadillac Williams was always a threat to break off a huge TD (ask Bama about the 1st play of the 2003 iron bowl)
So was Ronnie Brown to a lesser extent.
Also Sammie Coates in the sense that he always could get behind a defense and had some really long TD catches and could've had a lot more with better hands or a more accurate QB

Gawd that defense was awful
37 to Georgia
43 to Ole Miss
27 to LSU
28 to Auburn
37 to Hawaii
Just looking at those scores makes me break out in hives.
For Auburn I'd go : Cadillac, McCalleb, Nick Marshall. Coates obviously but he was a threat to beat you down the field then catch the ball, he didn't usually get the ball then make people miss, though he did decapitate a few Aggies.
