Serious question: I know this guy is the fan favorite but Coker was the fan favorite win Sims won the job. Is there anything that indicates he's more than just the fan favorite or that he's the likely starter?

Wrong. When Sims won we were all scared to death that Coker wasn't even good enough to beat out Sims. And rumors of Sims winning the job came out way before the actual news.

This will be a battle between a mature QB who knows the system and a hot shot 5 star kid who we have high hopes for. Either should be more than fine.

The fact is you're not going to know if he's any good until he plays in a real game against a good defence on the road.

You know Bateman's a mess. I don't think you're going to pass the ball much this year.

How many games did he really play to come to this assumption?

Couldn't the same have been said of Brandon Harris after the game @ Auburn?

Brandon should have been red shirted but Jennings was so bad they threw him in anyway.

Bateman was pulled in the Ole Miss game. Now he's all you've got unless Barnett pans out.

Driscal was a bust at UF. It's hard to develop a QB in the SEC with great defences.

Four QBs, three rated 4 stars, one rated 5 stars, and suddenly we're in trouble at the QB position?

Nope. We'll figure it out. Jake fricking Coker won a national championship.

Stars don't mean S*** when he throws a pick 6 or fumbles like your boy McCarron did last weekend.

Stars mean a hell of a lot more to a college program than does any play in the NFL.

It's gonna suck if this guy starts and is underwhelming. We've hyped him up to be the next great and he hasn't even seen the field yet.

This right here. I'm cautiously optimistic about Blake, assuming he even gets the starting job.

If Lane can develop him to his potential, he'll win us ballgames.

Sorry we can't jump on the hype train right now. Our recruits are busy winning All-American games and our quarterbacks are busy beating Alabama.

You need to do better at the qb position if you want to beat OM. The streak continues.

Losing to OM hasn't kept us out of the CFP yet. I think CNS understands now that that game really doesn't matter. Bigger fish to fry and all that.

Jake Coker developed into a good QB and no one can deny it now. But with the skill people we have coming back if we were to ever get a top tier one playing well right out of the gate, you boys are in big big trouble.

Fair warning..Bama is loaded. On both sides of the ball.

I couldn't even get off the first page of this thread without getting a case of grammar AIDS...

robins08 - LSU Fan

"Your in denial , I would say you are definitely gay…"
The word you are looking for here is "you're"

Prof - Tennessee fan

"Serious question: I know this guy is the fan favorite but Coker was the fan favorite win Sims won the job"
The word you are looking for here is "when"

harmonics - Alabama fan

"He will be actually challenged this spring."

WTF is up with this sentence structure...He will actually be challenged this Spring. FIFY

I guess it is really not all that surprising looking at the teams you cheer for. I am sure you are all proud graduates of these fine institutions of higher learning and not sidewalk fans.
