Auburn would have skullfricked them in the rematch. After Gus changed his signals Auburn went to straight trucking bama.

It would have been ugly. Hell, bama scored what, 3 points the last 2.5 quarters?

Not to mention in a rematch we get our 2 D tackles that missed the first half due to suspension back.

Rematch: AU 35, Bama 10.

I think the NCAA still remembers. Let us know how it all works out.

There's a racist comment in there somewhere, I just can't find it.

Why is the phrase "we beat ourselves" so commonly used amongst Bama players/coaches/fans? You don't beat yourself, your opponent beats you. Also, a record breaking pro bowl rookie season does not equal dog shite in the pros. Sophomore slump right now I would agree with, but Carolina has nothing around him.

I beat myself, because none of the girls I know will help me out, and I'll be damned if I'll let a guy do it.

No guy will ever touch my Johnson...unless, of course, I am forced to teabag him.

In 3 Days, it'll be the 20th Anniversary of Pat Dye, the most powerful & reverred coach in Auburn history, resigning in shame due to NCAA allegations. Dye was less than 3 years removed from the "Mountain Top" game where AU beat UA 30-20 in Jordan-Hare. He went on to get shutout in his final game. Alabama went on to win the NC. Auburn finished with a losing record.

In 1 Day...Gene Chizik, who brought AU a National Title less than 2 years ago, will be fired due to a losing record and another NCAA investigation. Alabama, just like in 92, controls its destiny for another title.

20 Years have gone by and not a damned thing has changed. Keep it up Barners.

I was deep in the student section at Bryant-Denny for that game. I remember looking up and watching the crimson and white shakers, thrown in disgust, raining down as the reverse Rammer Jammer played from across the stadium.

That actually may be my best college game experience, now that I think about it.

That had to be. I cant imagine hearing all that shite talking and loud screams when they were up 24-0 only to lose at the end and have nothing to say. They had to eat shite.

Except for that big streak from AU in the middle and that national championship season.

Oh, and 2004.

But other than that, yeah, nothing's changed.

We beat ourselves after the 21-0 slaughter. In fact, we beat ourselves every night for the next week.

Now, after beating you twice in a row, it's just not as exciting.
