That’s just a standard “rehabbing his image” job.

I don’t know that FakeU is really “rehabbing your image”.
It’s just that no one has any expectations for Liberty.
Freeze could have murdered someone, buried them on campus, gotten caught, and it would merely be reported as “Another scandal for Liberty”.

It’s not about liberty, it’s about HF going somewhere and winning while not causing problems off the field. He’s done both which puts him back in play as a top candidate this offseason, if not next year (assuming he has more success).

HF was not fired from OM for things he did while he was there.

The second he becomes high profile again, his past will catch back up with him.

But LSU hired an Ole Miss reject, so Auburn is going to do the same.

A MSU fan posting this crap, is hilarious. You are lucky to have Mike Leach. LOL

Kiffin

He literally just got settled in at Ole Miss. You honestly think he is already wanting to start fresh somewhere else 12 months later? I’m not delusional, I will concede that Auburn has more resources than OM, but I’m not sure the difference is great enough to justify making a move within the same division.

Kiffin has momentum at OM and more than likely will have a Manning at QB in a few years - seems like the move would be for a marginal gain.

If it’s leaving OM to replace Saban at Alabama, well sure, hard to say that’s not an epic upgrade. But OM to Auburn almost feels like a lateral move.

Auburn was only semi competitive because of Gus’ trickery and clown plays

Yep. Auburn has never fielded a decent team before Gus Malzahn

Literally no evidence of any of the things you're referencing. If he actually did those things, they wouldn't wait for him to get a big job before coming after him

Of those you list, the only one in consideration is

Well, you’re Ofer unless your Stoops was Bob

To the list you might add Cristobal, Napier, Clark, Aranda. Hate to tell you, but the next coach isn’t on your list

The media absolutely would - they did for Coach O.
The sports media companies aren’t bastions of morality, but they do have investigative journalists that can dig up dirt that is, in fact, true.

The media companies DGAF about justice; they care about money. And the journalists they employ can only look into stories their employers stand to profit and benefit from.

There are some great examples in the political realm, but I don’t want to stretch the rules.

Auburn is paying Gus 21 mil to clean out his desk.
Sexton will command the same for any of his clients who want to coach Auburn.
$$$ is a priority for coaches who hop around. OM is not going to even try to outbid Auburn ( tubberville)

So you think there are journalists just sitting on bombshell info about Freeze until he lands (or contends for) another big job?

You’re giving them far too much credit. If any journalist had that info they would break it immediately to avoid being scooped by someone else.

It took 5 quarters to figure how to stop his offense. You barely beat Vanderbilt. I would chill out with all that.

I am not a big fan of ML, you weirdo. I’d prefer Gus.
