Onside kick ruling was legit.. kicker was a foot and a half early.. guess he thought 9.5 rounded up to 10

I agree ya'll got screwed on the onside kick. They gave us a half a yard too much on the spot.

the SEC Refs most definately screwed Auburn on the onsides kick recovery
You need to rewatch that replay or learn the rules. The kicker clearly was touching the ball before it crossed the ten yards. Even the idiot talking heads had to admit they were wrong. They paused it right where the kicker touched it, and it was clearly too soon. It's not where the person is standing; it's where the ball is.

It's clear the refs were out to put a stop to a possible comeback upset against the league's most probable NC this year. They usually do that for Bama, but they know this year's Bama squad is bound to mess up beyond the saving of the refs at least once this year.

These things are facts which cannot be argued. The only thing that can be argued is if Auburn would have scored quick enough after the onside kick to let their defense get a 3 and out, or if Auburn would have needed another onside kick before they scored the tying TD.

Didn't Auburn try that same onside kick against Bama a couple of years ago and he touched it too soon as well?

i love this post. yes, you caught us; we paid the bastards. but we just got tired of y'all paying them so we upped the ante. i offer as proof that there is no other explanation for lsu's offense quiting in the second and fouth quarter. we jut let the refs bring it home.
