Losing to MSU has something to do with it but it was the fact that Les continued to beat his head against the wall for 3-1/2 quarters until Jennings got hurt. State's secondary is garbage and we refused to even attempt to exploit it. LSU fans are just tired of Les' offensive mindset. The callers last night weren't bad at all.

Actually, I'm a little more concerned about the state of affairs in the Middle East, and our crumbling relationship with Moscow, but that's just me.

I just don't see how someone can watch the same result everytime a play is called, see MSU stacking the box to stop that play, and think to themselves "it will probably work this time". How does the phrase go? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Is Les just refusing to let go of the offense and let his damn OC do his job? Y'all change OC's regularly and the offense still stays predicable. WTF?

We consistently recruit better but also consistently lose A LOT of talent to the draft. Sure we can throw in the backup upperclassmen but they've spent the majority of their college careers as just that, backups not starters. Grats on the win but don't play it up into anything more than a single win on a young team early in their first season.

And if Harris goes in at the start of the 2nd half and struggles, LSU fans are rabbling again talking about how Miles should have stuck to his guns and not killed the confidence of his starter.

What the hell is Cam Cameron doing? Why won't Les leave the offense alone and let the man he hired take control and run his offense? How long will Cameron hang around if Les keeps screwing around with the scheme?

Les needs to keep his focus in the trenches, because y'all got handled on the lines.

Inserting Harris wasn't the end all be all if he was going to continue to call the same plays. Les needs a philosophy overall to suit the players he has on the roster.

No idea. I just can't, for the life of me, bring myself to believe that our offensive staff all sat down and thought that game plan was going to work against MSU.

No doubt. Our interior DL is in for a long year. However, if we would stop trying to make our 5 OL block 8-9 guys we might have a shot.

You have no idea how much I agree with this. I wish Les was just a douche so I could hate him with no conflictions. Love/hate is precisely how I'd describe the relationship.

This could not be farther from the truth, most people recognize that he is much more talented even if he plays poorly...

Can't wait to see the aggie fans calling for Sumlin to change his offensive gameplan once our secondary plays TAMU

The problem isn't that Miles is "holding back the offense", it's that he and Cameron are of the same mindset.

Miles and Cameron will not waver from the I as a base formation. That worked well last year, with skilled veterans. This year, we're counting on freshmen and sophomores to execute who came from spread sets running shotgun and pistol.

You seem to have plenty of time on your hands. Figured you could provide at least one example. Since you started a thread about it and all...

You're right, getting our azz kicked was the right thing to do.

Why would anyone disagree with running the ball with 30 seconds left before half and then allowing the clock to run down to 3 seconds before calling a timeout and throwing a screen to the least speedy RB on the team? You just can't please some people.

I guess some of those wackos wanted him to try and air it out to Travon Dural, one of the top receivers in the nation who was previously #1 in the nation in yards per catch this year. Well, all you smarty pants, tell me what would have happened if the pass fell incomplete against a team that gave up three 70+ yard TDs to UAB? Didn't think about that, did ya?

Are people actually complaining that he waited until about three minutes left in the game to put in the backup QB who threw two TDs against basically a prevent D and was close to throwing a third one to win the game on the last play? What did they want Les to do, but the guy in a quarter earlier?
