Les Miles to Ole Miss would be ideal.

It would be a respectful and natural fit.
Ole Miss already needs to get rid of EVERYONE as Tuberville stated 3 days ago.
And, Tubs knows a thing or two about Ole Miss if you recall.
Les would really bring a clear atmosphere back to Oxford.
They certainly need it going forward.

First time anyone has mentioned this.

I really just don't like that dude.
He has zero morals.
But, I can see how people think that he would be a nice fit at Ole Miss.

It would be ideal, but I think Kiffin would be the smarter hire. He would bring some excitement to a [program that's going to be down in the dumps for a few seasons. Also that would give Kiffin a few seasons to really perfect his system and hire good assistant coaches

They need to clear the stench from Hugh freeze and les miles could do that.
But he would not be good for long term and the current offensive philosophy of the team.
They should hire Peyton manning. Jk

Les would have "want" to clean the mess up .... and finish "2nd" in every game for a few years.

Miles would be ok until he got back to being Miles and blowing games and then................

Look at who they hired for the Coordinator positions.
CHF was a Sugar Bowl winning coach, with the #1 QB signee in the country and countless stars of talent at WR. Oh, and the #1 OT from Texas on the roster.
With all of that to sell, the best candidate to show interest was the OC from Sam Houston State who has a playbook with 12-14 entries in it
The new DC is a former SEC bagman who never thought he would have to actually watch film and blow a whistle.
All that to say: What coach in their right mind would get close to that toxic waste dump of a program?

I say Ole miss should hire Sumlin in my opinion if he gets canned by tamu.
The culture at OM could use a black coach, he has beat saban, runs a similar offense and wins 8 games a year. Perfect for OM

If I remember correctly, the brothel that David Vitter frequented was in NOLA...it was outed by an informant who had a $40,000 plus tab at the place...
even my then 70 something year old mother felt it wasn't right to bust the joint the way the FBI did!!!!!

you can say a lot about Les, but "zero morals" isn't one of them.

Maybe not ideal, but certainly a good choice.
Consider the fact that OM will still have a wealth of talent on the team, barring any mass transfers. Miles has shown on occasion that when he has a good trigger man, he can have a good offense, e.g. his national championship season and the year that he had 2 receivers with 1,000 yards along with a running back with over 1000 yards the same season. He is well liked by players. He is a strong recruiter. His integrity has never been in question. He is familiar with the SEC landscape.
That being said, I believe that OM has their next HC in place.
