They are the same in terms of general success (Championships notwithstanding)

Richt has actually built a good program, not taken one over. Les Miles is good at maintaining a program that was built well when he took over. But, Miles had a huge exodus into the NFL last year that nobody seems to remember.

Richt is a values guy. Miles is a smooth criminal. You can take Richt on his word about pretty much anything. Miles could stand up at a press conference and say "I am not here" and everybody would believe him.

The two operate in completely different fashions. The only thing they have in common is that they are good coaches who will not have any hot seat issues in the foreseeable future, even if they maintain the current level of performance.

You're new to the SEC so ill let it pass. Miles set the offense back years by kicking off perriloux and kicked off. Heisman contender defensive player. Not many coaches would do the same.

Meanwhile, go look at Georgia's fulmer cups since richt has been in charge.

Miles and Richt...differences?

One has had 6-7 record and lost to UCF in bowl game. One of them has a DC that he has to keep on a leash and walk around...Richt still has piss stains he cant get out of his office rugs.

How many NC and SEC titles does Richt have compared to Miles

Georgia... can you say Herchell Walker...

Only if you can say Cam newton...what's your point? Yours may be more recent, but it is still in the rear view mirror. Checked how good your team has been in the past 10 years? I guess a decent team or two every ten years or so is good enough for Auburn, though.

After how many failed drug tests? That were official, not even ones swept under the rug. At UGA you're done for 2 games after the first failed test, a 2nd and you might as well transfer.

As a whole I agree with your post....except....

Did you forget about the huge exodus that Richt had last year? And don't forget, all the LSU fans were saying they were in great shape because they returned so many from the 2 deep.

Perriloux was a serious cancer to that locker room. If his playing ability matched 1/4 his ego, that dude would have been JFF and Cam and Tebow and Jesus Christ all wrapped into one.

A player that continually breaks team rules and the law is also a cancer to a locker room.

Les Miles is good at what he does because he knows how to maintain team chemistry and locker-room unity by ridding the team of the detractors.

At the same time, Miles is slicker than William Jefferson Clinton, but with integrity and without the baggage

Yeah, well, for a group of fans that were tlaking about winning the national Title this year, you guys would probably settle for #2 right now. What was it you kept saying to Texas A&M last year? oh, yeah. 3RD in your own division.
