Flight left Baton Rouge this morning at 8:30a.m. scheduled to arrive at 10:30a.m. Mack Rhoades said he was going to be competitive in salary (Pinkel made over $5million) and Rhoades was looking for a coach with experience. Imagine what Les Miles could do with Drew Lock

God I would to see that happen. Hate the idea of the conference losing two personalities like Spurrier and Les in a single offseason.

Didn't he turn LSU into a National title team withMatt Flynn, and J'Marcus Russell

Yes he did with all of his bonuses for APR, plus other performance related incentives

What has he done recently though? I like Les and if he is available, Mizzou will pursue him no doubt. I just think his offense has been shite for quite a while now.

Would make next year's LSU v MIZZU interesting, to say the least

Maybe all Les Miles needs is a change of scenery, afterall he has been at LSU for a decade. Miles could attract high end talent, and pair him up with Odom

Yeah it certainly would.

Rhoades seems willing to make this kind of ballsy hire, and I believe he could accelerate the pace of upgrades to Faurot, and get the big money donors excitedfor the future.

That's possible, again I like Les. He could attract some good talent, my concern is if he would know how to use it properly. His age is also a concern, unless he want's to coach another 5 years and Mizzou is cool with that.

Les going from a school where a grumpy, entitled fan base rules the roost to one where a grumpy, entitled group of students and players rule the roost? Not likely.
If so, however, it would be a stellar hire for Mizzou.
