I was hoping even most Alabama fans wouldn't mind this, if true.
He's just trying to make an opinion that a recruit might have an easier opportunity to start sooner.. that's not exactly negative recruiting. If anything he was praising Alabama for being stacked..
You can't hate on him for trying this pitch.. even if you don't think his opinion is true.

If you consider telling a recruit they may have an easier opportunity here as being negative.
If Saban said the exact same thing then I would see no issue..
but if Saban was actually saying... negative things.. then yes people would be pissed. If he said something like Miles can't get you to the NFL.. blah blah.. then yes that would be a bitch move.. But if Saban was saying Oh LSU is really loaded at a particular position and we need you.. who cares.
This is not negative recruiting though.
